ชมสวน นกยูงขาว (4) - Bird Park - White Peacock (4)

วันนี้ไปชมไก่ฟ้า (Pheasants) อีกประเภทหนึ่งนะคะ  มีขนสีสันสวยงามมาก บางตัวก็เป็นสีขาวล้วน มีเสียงร้องดังก้อง สามารถรำแพนหางได้ด้วย  เดาได้แล้วใช่ไหมคะว่า กำลังพูดถึงนกอะไร   "นกยูง (Peacock)" นั่นเอง

How's your weekend?  You probably know that "Peacock" is a kind of Pheasants, with colorful and some has only white feathers.

นกยูง เป็นสัตว์ที่มีการระมัดระวังตัวสูงมาก เพื่อป้องกันภัยจากสัตว์ป่าอื่น เช่น เสือ ตะกวด ฯลฯ  จึงมักอยู่บนคอนไม้  ในแต่ละวันจะบินออกจากคอนไม้ลงสู่พื้นป่าเบื้องล่าง เพื่อหากิน และ ดำเนินกิจกรรมต่างๆ เรื่อยๆไปจนเย็น

Peacock  is the animal that is a very self-caution. To be safety from other animals such as tigers, etc, it often stays on the big branch of tree and each day will fly down to the earth to find food and other activities.

นกยูงในธรรมชาติมีจำนวนลดลงเรื่อยๆ จนปัจจุบัน นกยูงเป็นหนึ่งในสัตว์ป่าสงวนของไทย

The population of Peacock in the forest or nature is gradually reducing day by day.  Nowadays, Peacock is also a kind of reserved animals of Thailand.

ปัจจุบัน นกยูงมีอยู่อย่างน้อย 4 แห่ง คือ เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าห้วยขาแข้ง, เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าทุ่งใหญ่นเรศวร , เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่า เวียงโล จ.พะเยา , อุทยานแห่งชาติดอยภูนาง , อุทยานแห่งชาติแม่ยม , อุทยานแห่งชาติศรีน่าน, อุทยานแห่งชาติแม่จริม , อุทยานแห่งชาติแม่ปิง และ พื้นที่ในโครงการพระราชดำริห้วยฮ่องไคร้

 Moreover, you can see the peacocks in some of Natural and Reserve Parks eg.  Huay Kha Khang, Tung Yai Narasuan and so on.  Here you can see the activities of White Peacock, which rarely to find.
