สวัสดีค่ะ
ไก่ฟ้าพญาลอ ดอกไม้ดิน (Handmade Pheasant Flower or Dutchman's Pipe Vine) ที่ทำด้วยฝีมือสุดเนี๊ยบของ Artist ของเรา  ได้จัดลงกระถางให้ชมตามคำเรียกร้องของบรรดาแฟนๆ แล้วนะคะ  ชมให้จุใจ และเต็มอิ่มกันเลยค่ะ

เพื่อนๆ อาจจะหาใยมะพร้าวมาหุ้มแกนไม้อีกทีหนึ่งก็ได้ค่ะ เหมือนการปลูกต้นไม้เลื้อยจริงๆ  แต่ถ้าไม่ได้รดน้ำต้นไม้เอง ก็อย่าลืมบอกเด็กหรือแม่บ้านว่า  นี่เป็นต้นไม้วิเศษ(ทำจากดินญี่ปุ่น,ดินไทย) ไม่ต้องรดน้ำจ้ะ

เพราะเคยมีเพื่อนๆ เล่าให้ฟังถึงประสบการณ์ของเขาว่า แม่บ้านมาใหม่ใจดีเอาน้ำไปรดให้  (ต้นแคทลียาดินญี่ปุ่น) อิอิ.. เขาบอก คิดว่าเป็นต้นไม้จริงๆ

Dear Friends
Our neat Handmade Clay Pheasant Flowers or Dutchman's Pipe Vine made by our professional artist has been arranged in a rattan pot with wooden stick in the middle.

You may add more coconut fibre around the wooden stick and fasten with small rope.  If you have a housekeeper, please tell her this is a magic plant (made of clay), no need for watering.

กล้วยไม้ดิน มิสโจคิม - ไก่ฟ้าพญาลอ (3) - Handmade Miss Joaquim and Pheasant Flower (3)

สวัสดีค่ะ
คราวก่อนได้ไปชมกล้วยไม้แวนดามิสโจคิม และไก่ฟ้าพญาลอแล้ว  ทราบว่าเพื่อนๆ หลายคนชอบมาก  และเราจะได้สังเกตการจัดต้นไม้และดอกไม้ดินว่า  ไม่จำเป็นต้องใส่กระถางดินหรือเซรามิคเท่านั้น อาจใส่ภาชนะที่ทำจากหวาย ขอนไม้ หรือทำจากวัสดุอื่นๆ ก็ได้  
  

นอกจากนี้ การจัดลงภาชนะแบบมีเสาหรือหลักให้เกาะ ก็เป็นอีกแนวหนึ่งที่สามารถจัดได้ เพียงแต่เลือกต้นไม้หรือดอกไม้ดินให้เข้ากันนะคะ  เช่นไก่ฟ้า เป็นพันธุ์ไม้้เลื้อย  ก็เหมาะแล้วที่มีไม้ให้ไต่เกาะไปเรื่อยๆ  มิสโจคิมก็เช่นกัน  เมื่อก่อนมักปลูกตามรั้วบ้าน เป็นกล้วยไม้โตง่าย ต้นสูง มีรั้วหรือหลักเกาะก็เหมาะเช่นกันค่ะ

Today, I would like to show you other styles of arranging handmade clay flowers.  It is possible to use any kinds of vessels such rattan basket, wooden vase or any materials, besides the terra cotta or ceramic pot. 

Incredible handcraft !!

Just consider which kind of handmade clay flowers.. for instance, Pheasant Flower or called Dutchman's Pipe Vine is a kind of ivy vine which naturally climb up.  Therefore, we should use wooden stick or stack to support its stem as shown.  Handmade clay - Miss Joaquim is also the same concept.

 

Moreover, we can add coconut fiber fastened on the stack..  Just copy from the real stack.

ชมสวน นกกระเรียนไทย (3) - Bird Park - Crane (3)

สวัสดีวันอาทิตย์ค่ะ
เราไปดูนกกระเรียนไทย (Sarus Crane) ขนสีเทา หัวและคอเป็นหนังสีแดง  ซึ่งคนไม่ค่อยรู้จักและหายากมากๆ เคยสูญพันธุ์ไปจากประเทศไทยแล้ว  แต่ด้วยความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศไทยและมูลนิธิอนุรักษ์นกกระเรียนสากล (ICF)  เราจึงได้เห็นนกกระเรียนไทยกลับมาสู่ธรรมชาติอีกครั้งหนึ่ง  เพื่อนๆ สามารถหาดูได้ที่สวนนกชัยนาท และสวนสัตว์เปิดเขาเขียว ชลบุรี ฯลฯ

นกกระเรียนไทย เป็นนกขนาดใหญ่ รูปร่างคล้ายนกกระสา คอยาวขายาว จงอยปากตรงปลาย เรียวแหลม ส่วนใหญ่ขนของลำตัวเป็นสีเทา แต่ขนปลายปีกสีค่อนข้างดำ คอตอนบนและหัว เป็นหนังเปลือยเปล่าสีแดง ไม่มีขน ปัจจุบันเป็นสัตว์สงวนแห่งชาติ 1 ใน 15 ชนิดของประเทศไทย

เพื่อนๆ ทราบไหมคะว่า  นกกระเรียนไทย  เป็นนกที่สูงและใหญ่ที่สุดของประเทศไทย มีขนาดลำตัวยาวประมาณ 1.52 เมตร สูงราว 1.5 เมตร มีน้ำหนัก ตัวประมาณ 5 - 12 กิโลกรัม

Just let you know that Sarus Crane use to be extinct from Thailand.  Fortunately, with the co-operation  between Thailand and ICF, Sarus Crane has returned to Thailand.  Its body is 1.52 meter wide, 1.5 meter tall, and 5-12 kgs weight.  Do you know that Sarus Crane is the biggest and highest bird of Thailand?  Additionally, Sarus Crane is one of 15 kinds - Thailand Reserved Animals.

เราไปดูนกกระเรียนอีกพันธุ์หนึ่งนะคะ  เรียกว่า นกกระเรียนหงอนพู่ (Crowned Crane หรือ African Crowned Crane) เป็นนกขนาดใหญ่ บนหัวมีหงอนพู่เป็นเส้นตรงสีออกทองๆ เหมือนสวมมงกุฎ ดูงามสง่า

มีถิ่นกำเนิด ทางตะวันตกของแอฟริกา  เห็นหงอนพู่แล้ว..อยากจะนำดอกไม้ดินญี่ปุ่นสวยๆ เช่น โบตั๋นไปประดับให้จัง..

Crowned Crane or African Crowned Crane

Let's see another beautiful Crane called Crowned Crane or African Crowned Crane.  It is a fantastic big bird originately from West Africa, with golden crowned on the top.   You can see those birds at Chai Nat Bird Park, or some open parks in Thailand.

มาชมนก หรือไก่ฟ้า (Pheasants) กันนะคะ  มีหลากหลายพันธุ์

ที่สวนนกแห่งนี้  เขาห้ามใช้แฟลชในการถ่ายภาพสัตว์  ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่ควรสนับสนุนอย่างยิ่ง  เนื่องจากแสงแฟลชอาจทำให้นกตาบอดได้  ที่ประเทศในแถบยุโรป ออสเตรเลีย อเมริกา เขาก็ห้ามใช้แฟลชถ่ายภาพสัตว์มาเป็นเวลานานมากแล้ว

จำได้ว่า  เคยไปดูนกเพนกวินเดินพาเรดขึ้นฝั่งเป็นหมื่นๆ ตัว ที่ Phillip Island ในรัฐ Victoria, Australia เป็นเกาะอยู่ห่างจาก Melbourne 140 กม.  เขาก็ห้ามใช้แฟลช  และเคร่งครัดมากค่ะ  คนชมนกก็ต้องแอบๆ อยู่ตามต้นไม้ หรืออาคารที่สร้างซ่อนอยู่ใกล้ชายหาด  เขาถือว่าใน Park สัตว์เป็นใหญ่ เป็นเจ้าของพิ้นที่  เราเป็นแขก ก็ต้องสงบเสงี่ยมไม่รบกวนเขา

At this park, I really appreciate that they do not allow flash to take animals' picture.  Many countries in Europe, America or Australia, also have used the same regulation for decades.. No Flash Allow.

Once I visited and saw Penquin Parade at Phillip Island, Melbourne, Australia, long time ago; thousands of Penquins appeared from the sea and walking along the beach.  So wonderful!!

Phillip Island Nature Parks is located about 140 kms away from Melbourne, Victoria.  It is renowed as Australia's most populat natural wildflife attraction.  This parks strickly not allow tourists to use flash in order to safe animals' eyesight, besides it educates us to preserve and protect the wildlife.

ชมสวน สวนนกชัยนาท (1) - Chai Nat Bird Park (1)

สวัสดีค่ะเพื่อนๆ
ไม่ได้พาออกไปชมนกชมไม้กันนานโข  สุดสัปดาห์ที่มีวันหยุดต่ิอเนื่องหลายๆวัน เพื่อนๆ วางแผนไปไหนกันบ้าง  หากยังไม่มีโปรแกรม ก็ลองดูไปชมนกสวยๆ และนกหายากเกือบจะสูญพันธุ์แล้ว  สถานที่ก็ไปมาสะดวก ไม่ไกลจากกทม. เท่าไร  สถานที่ว่านี้ก็คือ  สวนนกชัยนาท จังหวัดชัยนาทนี่เอง

แล้วก็...  มีเพื่อนๆ หลายๆ คนได้ดูบล็อกแล้ว ชอบไก่ฟ้าพญาลอที่ปั้นจากดินญี่ปุ่นกันมากๆ  บางคนก็ไม่เคยเห็นไก่ฟ้าตัวเป็นๆ เราก็เลยนึกถึงสวนนกที่มีไก่ฟ้าพันธุ์ต่างๆ บางพันธุ์หางยาวเป็นเมตร ขนมีสีสันสวยงามอย่างไม่คาดคิดมาก่อนเลย  บางพันธุ์ก็หางสั้นกว่านั้น 

นอกจากนี้ยังมีนกสวยๆ ที่หาดูได้ยาก อีกหลายชนิด เช่น นกยูงสีขาวทั้งตัว นกกระเรียนไทยสีเทา นกเงือก นกเป็ดน้ำ นกฟลามิงโกสีชมพู ฯลฯ

แต่ภาพที่เห็น  ถ่ายจากงานสวนนกชัยนาท ซึ่งจัดแสดงที่้ซีคอนสแควร์ ถนนศรีนครินทร์ เมื่อเดือนที่แล้ว  บางภาพไม่ค่อยชัดเท่าไร  เพราะเขาปิดไฟ (Spotlight) ให้บรรดานกพักผ่อนในช่วงบ่ายๆ แสงก็เลยไม่พอ และห้ามใช้แฟลชถ่ายด้วยค่ะ  เพราะแสงแฟลชอาจเป็นอันตรายกับสัตว์  อันนี้ขอสนับสนุนด้วยค่ะ  และอีกประการหนึ่ง  นกเป็นสัตว์ที่เคลื่อนไหวตลอดเวลา  การถ่ายภาพให้ชัดเจนจึงไม่ใช่เรื่องง่ายเลย  ต้องอาศัยฝีมือและความอดทน  คล้ายๆ กับการทำดอกไม้ดินนี่แหละค่ะ

Haven't been outside for a long time.  What do you plan for the long weekend of Wisakha Buddha?  If nothing, we would like to recommend one park where not far away from Bangkok.  Yepp.. it is Chainat Bird Park, in Chainat.  There are so many exotic and nearly extinct birds in this park !!

Many friends told us that they do love the pheasant's flower (Dutchman's Pipe Vine) scultped by clay very much, but most of them had never seen the real pheasant bird before, so we would like to show some of them, please kindly follow the next chapter.

I took these photo from an exhibition of exotic birds - Chainat Bird Park, organized by Seacon Square.  Sorry, some pictures are not so clear, due to at that time, spotlight turned off to let all birds take a rest or sleep in the afternoon, and some cleansed their feathers, lovely postures!!.  Flash not allowed. Besides, it is a nature characteristics of birds that never stop moving.  Therefore it is not easy for one to take a clear picture under such circumstance, I hope you have the same experience as myself.  To take a good shot, it need skills and patience same as you scultp a clay flower, smile...
