Dear friends
This is the last weekend of Mar, 2011.

Most children are in a long summer holidays in Thailand.

Hope you and your family are doing very well during this weekend.

We come and browse closely our cosmos - handmade clay flowers.

Cosmos are originally from Central America especially Mexico and spread through worldwide.

Normally, it has yellow and orange with 8 petals.

But nowadays we can mix and get new bleed with variety colors such as pink, purple, white, red etc.

วันนี้  ก็เป็นวันสุดสัปดาห์สุดท้ายของเดือนมีนาคม  2554

เด็กๆ ก็ปิดเทอมกันแล้ว  หวังว่าเพื่อนๆ จะมีความสุขกับครอบครัวในช่วงนี้นะคะ

วันนี้ เรามาคุยเรื่อง แหล่งกำเนิดของ ดอกดาวกระจายกันหน่อยค่ะ

ดาวกระจาย  เป็นไม้ล้มลุกจากเขตร้อน  มาจากทวีปอเมริกาใต้ โดยเฉพาะเม็กซิโก  แล้วแพร่กระจายไปทั่วโลก

 
ดอกดาวกระจาย เป็นดอกเดี่ยว อยู่บนก้านยาว แต่ละดอกมี 8 กลีบ ส่วนใหญ่เป็นกลีบชั้นเดียว ปลายกลีบดอกเป็นซี่หยัก ดอกมีเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลางราว 5 เซนติเมตร

กลีบดอกดาวกระจายปกติมีสีเหลือง แต่ปัจจุบันสามารถผสมพันธุ์ใหม่ๆ มีกลีบดอกสีต่างๆ เช่น ขาว ชมพู แดง ม่วง และแสด

ขยายพันธุ์โดยเมล็ด โตง่าย ชอบกลางแจ้ง แดดจัด ปรับตัวเข้ากับสภาพดินฟ้าอากาศในบ้านเราได้ดีค่ะ
